Garden design for Helen in Manly. Front courtyard. Plants are- Anigozanthus. Kangaroo Paw. Grevillea 'Honey Gem'. Alternanthera dentata. Little Ruby. Viola banksii (previously Viola hederacea). Native Violet. Westringia fruiticosa. Coastal Rosemary. Syzygium. Lilly Pilly. Rhoea. Phormium tenax. Rear courtyard.
Drepanostachyum falcatum. Himalayan Weeping Bamboo. Sandstone cottage garden that originally had a one hundred year old, Borer riddled Peach tree in the corner, a gnarly old Murraya and a pretty sad Azalea.
Replaced with Buxus, Rapheolepsis, Hydrangea, Gardenia 'standards' and a dozen Camellia sasanqua 'Early Pearly's' down the side of the house. Down the centre, encased in aluminium strip edging are Cowra Gold river stones, everything laid on top of a drip irrigation system. This is a cement slab for a basketball court as well as a retaining wall we put in for Stuart at Kincumber last year.
